BowTie Adventures LLC – Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payment

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your charter.

Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received and a confirmation email has been issued.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

If the Host wishes to cancel a scheduled charter, they must notify BowTie Adventures LLC immediately by emailing [email protected] or calling directly.

Cancellations by Host:

  • 60 days or more before the charter date:The Host will receive a full refund of all payments made, including the deposit.

  • Less than 60 days before the charter date:The deposit - becomes non-refundable, but BowTie Charters will issue a non-transferable credit equal to the deposit amount. This credit may be used toward a future charter within 12 months of the original booking.

Weather-Related Cancellations:

  • If BowTie Adventures LLC determines that the charter must be canceled due to unsafe weather conditions or an official advisory issued by the U.S. Coast Guard, the Host will be given the option to reschedule the charter at no additional cost.

  • If rescheduling is not feasible due to travel constraints or other circumstances, a full or partial refund may be issued at BowTie Adventures sole discretion.

3. Weather & Safety

  • Safety is our top priority. BowTie Adventures LLC reserves the right to cancel, shorten, or reschedule any charter due to inclement weather, mechanical issues, or safety concerns.

  • In the event of a cancellation by BowTie Charters, clients may be rescheduled or considered for a refund.

4. Guest Conduct

  • The chartered vessel is a luxury experience. Guests are expected to behave respectfully and comply with the captain’s instructions at all times.

  • No illegal substances, vaping, or smoking are allowed onboard.

  • Any damage caused by negligence or misconduct will be the financial responsibility of the booking party.

5. Liability Waiver

  • All guests must sign a liability waiver prior to boarding. Participation is at your own risk. BowTie Adventures LLC and its affiliates are not responsible for injuries, lost belongings, or weather-related discomforts

6. Arrival & Late Policy

  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time.

  • Charters will not be extended due to late arrival. No-shows or late arrivals forfeiting significant time will not be refunded.

7. Alcohol & Food Policy

  • Alcohol is permitted for guests 21 and over. Overconsumption will not be tolerated.

  • Glass bottles are not allowed unless specifically approved. Bartenders are available upon request.

  • Outside food and drinks may be brought onboard. Catering and hosting services can be arranged in advance.

8. Capacity & Crew

  • Maximum guest capacity is enforced strictly based on USCG regulations.

  • Bareboat charters must secure their own captain and crew from an approved list provided by BowTie Charters, or submit proposed crew for approval.

9. Media Release

  • By booking with BowTie Adventures LLC, you grant permission for photos and videos taken during your charter to be used for marketing purposes, unless you opt out in writing before your cruise.

10. Changes to Policy

  • BowTie Adventures LLC reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. All updates will be reflected on our website. Continued use of our services implies agreement with the most recent version of our policies.
