Can We Bring Food and Drinks?
Absolutely. You're welcome to bring your own food and beverages onboard. If you want to bring hard liquor, just add the bartender upgrade at checkout, since a licensed bartender is required to serve it.
How Many Guests Can We Bring?
Our charters are advertised for up to 13 guests, which is 12 plus the person booking. Every experience is fully private, meaning the entire yacht is reserved exclusively for your group.
What Is the Minimum Charter Length?
We have a 3-hour minimum for all bay cruise charters. Most guests find that 3 to 5 hours gives them the perfect amount of time to relax, explore, and enjoy.
Can We Customize the Experience?
Yes. From your route and playlist to catering, a DJ, a photographer, and more, we work with you to build the experience around your vision. Just let us know what you have in mind.
Where Do We Board?
We board at H&M Landing, 2803 Emerson St, San Diego, CA 92106. Once your booking is confirmed, we'll send detailed boarding instructions with parking information and everything else you need to arrive stress-free.
What Should We Bring?
We handle cups, plates, utensils, napkins, coolers, filtered water, and towels. Bring your food, drinks, sunscreen, and sunglasses, plus whatever else makes your group comfortable. We take care of the rest.
How Do I Reserve My Date?
To reserve your date, the charter is paid in full at the time of booking. If you'd rather split up the cost, financing options are available at checkout.
What Happens If the Weather Is Bad?
San Diego has incredible weather year-round. In the rare event of unsafe conditions, we'll work with you to reschedule at no additional cost. Your experience and safety always come first.
Are the Captain and Crew Included?
No. Per bareboat charter regulations, your booking reserves the boat itself, and you're required to arrange the captain and crew separately. If you don't have a captain, we'll supply a list of our recommended, insured captains for you to choose from. The rate is $130 per hour, which is $100 per hour for the captain and $30 per hour per crew member. Most charters need one crew member. If you add the water slide, an additional crew member is required, which brings it to $160 per hour.
What Upgrades Can We Add?
You can add upgrades at checkout, including the water slide, a bartender for hard liquor, a DJ, a photographer, catering, and more. Just tell us what you have in mind and we'll build it into your day.
Do We Anchor During the Charter?
A 3-hour charter is a full guided tour of the bay. Anchoring is available by request, but on a 3-hour we can only stop at nearby Kellogg Beach. To anchor at our usual spot, Glorietta Bay, we require 4 hours or more.
Can We Add the Water Slide?
The water slide is available on charters of 5 hours or longer. That gives us time for setup and takedown and leaves you plenty of time to enjoy it. Adding the slide also requires an additional crew member.
